Annapolis Irish Festival

Once again, the Friendly Sons will be volunteering to man the bars at the Annapolis Irish Festival. The event is held at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds on the evening of Friday, July 15th and all-day on Saturday, July 16th.

We will be running 3 large bars and need lots of help from our members. This event has the potential to be one of our larger fundraising events this year, and is always a lot of fun to “work.” It’s a great festival, with an awesome outdoor venue and a killer music lineup. We need the help of our members to pour beers and ring the tip buckets for our charity.

We are working to make arrangements for a block of hotel rooms. Again this year, the organization will cover 25% of the room cost at the arranged hotel, 50% for occupancy by two member volunteers. The organization will reimburse members to those levels after the event. More details to come. Please keep an eye on the FSSP Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.

We need about 30-40 members to make this run smoothly, so please let us know if you can help out. Even a few hours on Saturday can provide some relief. Come see just how much fun volunteering with FSSP is!
